Are you looking for a way to volunteer?  Well here’s a great opportunity with our own SVdP Council. We meet on Thursdays at 7 pm in the school cafeteria. Don’t miss the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate. If you are unable to attend in person feel free to call the Parish Office to find out how you can still be involved with this powerful ministry.

The members of the Society of SVdP are referred to as “Vincentians”.  They seek his glory, not their own. Their ideal is to help relieve suffering for love alone, without thinking of any reward or advantage for themselves. They draw nearer to Christ, serving Him in the poor and one another. They grow more perfect in love by expressing  compassionate and tender love to the poor one another.”

Taizé Prayer is a distinctive style of meditative prayer developed by an ecumenical community of monks in rural France. This quiet, moving reflective prayer combines elements of the Church's traditional Liturgy of the Hours with elements of contemplative meditation. A typical Taizé prayer service incorporates periods of silence with meditative readings from Scripture, prayers of praise and intercession, and the frequent repetition of simple, contemporary chants.
